I often join video calls early & hang on after the end in an attempt to simulate the hallway conversations of the pre-pandemic office.

So much important collaboration and communication used to happen in the spaces between scheduled events.

I’m not sure we can replicate or replace that kind of connection with an app, but there’s definitely something missing in how we work now.

There has to be a way of bringing back the random interactions that drove so much innovation before COVID flattened our days into calendars.
