My folks, both SF residents & senior citizens, got their first vaccination (Moderna) shots this morning via KP (their healthcare provider).
Vax info from my folk’s neighbor: "You needn't be a Kaiser member to get the vaccine from Kaiser if you're 65+.
I spent 4.5 hours on hold to be told I need to set up a Kaiser ID number for my mom.
So: Set up a Kaiser ID# at 1-800-464-4000
Secure the appointment at 1-866-454-8855"
